Wealth you always and everywhere the Word of God!

These men are “strong.” The evil opposite course, the natural strength will not help. They require that another force to conquer. And they have this power, when and because “the word of God abides in them”. 1 John 2, 16

For all that is in the world: the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the pride of life, is not from the Father but from the world.

Here stands and falls the responsibility.

John does not say how this whole perversion of human nature and life has come about and where this whole “desires of the flesh and the eyes” comes. A theoretical knowledge of it would not help us, but on the contrary easily distracted by the threatening fact that by nature all this lives within us and dominates us. It is also characteristic of John that he meets any detailed provisions as to what he sees as this “desire of the flesh”.

Is it really already dangerous “world” when my eyes with joy rests on a beautiful piece of furniture and I strive to acquire it? Is it “pride of living” when I show acquaintance with joy the car, because I can go now? Where is the line where the Verfalleinsein begins at the “world” that is incompatible with the love of the Father?

Psalm 145, 2

I will praise you every day and glorify thy name for ever and ever boast.

1 John 2: 18-19

Children, it is the last hour! And as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, there many antichrists have now become; whereby we know that is the last hour. They went out from us, but they were not of us. For if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but it should be obvious that not all of us.

Check everything!

The community may not always just waiting for the one great Antichrist, which is not yet visible, and it overlooked the dangerous “antichrists” who are there now and the community threatening. These men are to be taken seriously, that is just to recognize them, “that last hour”. Here is an opposition to Jesus has used, which has to do nothing mere theological controversy, but is eschatological attack on Jesus and his position in the history of salvation.

That is precisely the “anti-Christian”. As John identifies this “Antichrist”? Pray for the Holy Spirit you saved from false teachings and the temptations of the Antichrist. Check everything by the word of God.

1 Corinthians 10, 31

Therefore ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God.

Do everything for God’s glory. The main goal of your life as a Christian is to please God and bring Him glory by looking more like Christ will and his humble attitude and selflessness towards God and others is reflected (cf. Phil. 2, 3-8). At Get the people to recognize who Jesus Christ is. The Word of God should be reflected in conversation. Give glory to God, with all your “want” and “being”. Romans 3, 24

Psalm 62, 2

Only he is my rock and my salvation, my high tower; I will shake not much.

From him comes my help. This psalm expresses a fundamental truth, after you judge you can and every Christian should be based: If you experience hardship, suffering or resistance, you have to rely on God who is your protector and savior. God leaves you never, he is always and everywhere there for you.

If you are God should honestly and wholeheartedly trust can you confess:

(1) I let my confidence in God of any emergency, crisis or tribulation shake (Ps 62, 3 and 7). He made me not only redeemed and brought into a relationship with him (Ps 62, 2), but he is also my rock, my support, one who protection and refuge from all Lebemsstürmen gives me (Ps 62: 7-8). Hebrews 10, 19

In the power of the Holy Spirit!
