Does not the potter have power?

Romans 9: 21-23
Has not the potter power over the tone of making the same mass of one vessel into honor, and the other to dishonor?
But if God, when he was to show his wrath and proclaim his might, bore with great patience the vessels of anger, which were made to perish, so that he might also reveal the riches of his glory in the vessels of mercy which he had previously sent to glory

Paul argues that God is sovereign, ie Has the power and authority that can and can do what he wants and can use certain people for specific purposes without having to justify himself against anyone. God the Almighty who created the whole world in a word, “everything was made” because God said. Who are you human and who is God? In a word, God can release you from all your problems and temptations. But whether this is meaningful, even he can answer, for he alone sees the whole, he sees why things are as they are.

You must not understand that God has no moral principles in his dealings with individuals and peoples. His character is characterized, among other things, by holiness, i. Purity, perfection; Perfection and separation from evil and absolute justice. God’s essence is not determined by deficient human wisdom, but by his own perfect love (Jn 13:16), his mercy (Ps 25: 6), his righteousness (that is, character purity and truth) and his compassion (Ps 111, 5).

Whoever interprets the verses Romans 9, 6-29 in such a way that God arbitrarily chooses some people for salvation and others for condemnation has completely misunderstood this section. The subject of predestination often raises the question of whether God has already determined in advance, who will be saved, and who will spend eternity with him, and who will be condemned and exiled forever from his presence. In other words, God has already decided who is in heaven and who is going to hell? The Bible clearly demonstrates that God is omniscient (Ps 44, 22, 139, 1-6, 147, 5) and he is actively involved in the life of man and of the world he created (Acts 17, 26-28). However, the Bible clearly speaks of the fact that people themselves can decide whether to spend eternity with him or not depends on this decision (Deuteronomy 19:19, Jos 24:15, Joh 3, 36, 5, 40; , 9). Even if God knows all the different possibilities, and he knows how a particular situation will evolve, it does not mean that it influences the outcome. God knows what has been in the past and what is going to happen in the future, and yet that does not mean that God himself is guiding everything he sees, including our decisions and actions.

God has created you with a free will, so that you can make your own choices (Gen 2, 16). Therefore, you and all people are also responsible for their own final decisions and the resulting consequences (Mt 12, 36; Rom 14, 12; Hebr4, 13).

The “vessels of wrath” are people who are on the path of eternal damnation. To such a vessel of wrath, we are served by his own sinful deeds and his rebellion against God, as Paul has said in a previous passage. “With your stupor and your impenitent heart you will raise your wrath, for the day of wrath, in which God’s righteous judgment will be revealed” (Rom 2: 5). Nevertheless, this section mainly deals with God’s mercy.

The “vessels of wrath” (i.e., God’s opponent) can still do buses, i. Admit their rebellious ways, turn away from them, turn to God and receive His grace, just as you have chosen one from your free will for Jesus Christ and have received His grace. Be aware of this grace always from the whole heart and always keep a thankful heart, thankfulness for what God has done for you, doing and doing. Gratitude always preserves you from arrogance and preserves a humble heart.

You are a “vessel of mercy” if you trust and follow Jesus Christ (Rom 9: 24-33). Go his ways, which he has paved for your life. Make your ways to your ways, then you are a “vessel of mercy” Maranatha.

Shalom I wish you a blessed and reflective Sunday. Come to the peace of God and hear what the Lord has to say. He wants to work in your heart in a powerful way.

The Spirit of God accepts your weakness!

Romans 8:26
In the same way, the spirit of our weakness also comes to the rescue. For we know not what we are to pray, as is due; But the spirit itself appears for us with unspoken sighs.

The word translated here is a complex term (gr. Synantilambanetai), which expresses the Holy Spirit “seizing” your weakness (lambanetai). He does this with you (syn) and your (adversary) as your advocate (i.e., someone who works for someone else). This means, on the one hand, that the Holy Spirit is united with you, so that in your circumstances you do not have to be a victim, but be a victor. You are called to victory by Jesus Christ because he has won the victory for you. But the Holy Spirit also works without you and sits down for you.
If you are helpless, he is truly your “helper”.

There are three important observations regarding the prayer support of the Holy Spirit.

(1) As the children of God, you have two great advocates (ie mediators who defend others or take responsibility for the sorrows and situations of other responsibilities): Christ sits for you in heaven (Rom 8:34, 1 John 2: 1) and the Holy Spirit Sit down for you on earth, out of your heart. Always stay in the Holy Spirit, because it gives you the strength you need for certain situations. God works through the Holy Spirit in the weak powerful.

(2) The phrase “with unspoken sighs” is meant to convey that the Holy Spirit communicates with the Father through the desperate cries and longings of your heart, if you lack the appropriate words and you can not express your needs and wishes to God. Every sighing and every tear that you weep is a prayer to your Father in heaven.

(3) The longings of your heart must come from the Holy Spirit who lives in you. He sits before the Father for your needs, “according to the will of God” (Rom 8:27). When you make your wishes yours, your prayer becomes effective. Here is not the talk of your own egoistic desires in your life, but always of the wishes of God in and for your life, which you make to yours to honor him.

Jesus Christ has taken his rightful place to the highest honor and authority with his Father in heaven (Heb, 1). There, he is continually interceding for you and for each of his successors, in accordance with the wishes and intentions of his father (cf Romans 8: 33-34, 1 Tim 2: 5, 1 John 2: 1). With your wishes is always the talk of the wishes which your Father in heaven, through the Holy Spirit has worked in you. Which then you express through your prayer so that he can hear them.

Hebrews 8: 1
But the chief thing in what we have said is that we have such a high priest, who sits on the right of the throne of Majesty in heaven,

Through His service of intercession, you experience God’s love and presence and receive mercy and grace (ie, unenlightened favor, love and spiritual empowerment) for every kind of need (Hebr4, 16), temptation (Luke 22:32), weakness, sin (1Jo1, 9, 2, 1) and contestation (Rom 8: 31-39). There is no situation that Jesus Christ can not know and imitate, because he has experienced it all through himself and has passed through

The high priestly prayer that Christ prayed for his people shortly before his death (see John 17) and his desire to fulfill and empower his followers with the Holy Spirit (Acts 2:33) help you to be the primary character of his ministry as your advocate With God. The Holy Spirit will reveal to you everything that was hidden for you until then. Through the intercession of Christ, those who “come to God through him” (ie, “coming continually” or “coming continually”, the Greek present participle emphasizing the ongoing duration of an action), grace to complete salvation. Christ’s intercession as your High Priest is necessary for your redemption. Without the grace, mercy, and help that Jesus gives to you through His work of intercession, you would fall away from God, fall back into the slavery of sin, and be condemned forever. Your only hope is to come to God in faith through Christ (see 1 Peter 1, 5). Out of you you would not make it, the sin would roll you down like a road planner and against the power of Satan you would not be able to survive. Always be grateful to Jesus Christ for your intercession with the Father.

Hebrews 4,16
So let us proceed with frankness to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace for timely help.

Because Christ can know your weakness, compassion with you (Hebr4, 15), and all that you experience in your life, you can come confidently to God and be sure that your prayers are welcome and desired by our Heavenly Father Cf. Heb. 10: 19-20). This place of encounter is called the “throne of grace,” because from there, God’s benevolence, love, help, mercy, forgiveness, wisdom, spiritual power, spiritual gifts, and the fruit of the Holy Spirit. In fact, God gives you everything you need in your particular situation. A special great blessing of redemption is the fact that Christ is now your high priest, the mediator between God and men; Which opens you to the presence of God where you can always find the help you need.

Notice that Christ does not remain an advocate or intercessor for those who refuse to confess and give up their sins (that is, selfish action contrary to God) and who turn away from their relationship to God (cf 1Joh1, 5-7; , 3, 10). His intercession to “save for ever” is only for those who come to God through him “(Hebrews 16: 16). There is no certainty and assurance for those who deliberately continue to sin and refuse to return to God (Heb 10: 21-31).

Jesus Christ is your only mediator (that is, mediator between God and man) and advocate in heaven. This means that any attempt to turn to angels or deceased saints as mediators or to pray through them to the Father is useless and unbiblical (Col1, 2; Hebr2, 18). Jesus Christ alone is the way and the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father only through him (Jn 3, 16).

Now come as you are before God’s throne, and trust your God, that whatever is, will serve you all things for the best. For God never causes His children to be put to shame.

1Corinether 12,21-25
The eye can not say to the hand: I do not need yours, or the head to my feet: I do not need you!
On the contrary, the seemingly weaker members of the body are necessary,
And which we regard as less honorable, which we surround with greater honor, and those who are evil to us are best decorated;
For those who are well with us do not need it. But God has put the body together in such a way that he gave the more impotent member the greater honor,
So that there is no conflict in the body, but the limbs provide for each other evenly.

The work of the Holy Spirit in the lives of individual Christians and in the community life of the congregation is expressed by a multitude of spiritual gifts made available to God’s people (1 Cor. Xviii. 7).

Every person, according to God’s perfect plan, has its place in Christ’s body (1 Cor. 12: 8). All members are extremely important to the spiritual well-being and functioning of the entire congregational body. More specifically, people with more practical abilities should receive special respect (1 Cor. 12:23), whereas people who have very visible services need no further recognition (1 Cor. 24).

The spiritual gifts are special abilities that you can receive from God, which are mainly there to promote the spiritual growth and the development of each individual and of the church (1 Cor. They should not be confused with the gifts and services in Romans 12, 6-8, and Ephesians 4, 11, which entrust certain Christians and enable them to serve the church in greater temporal proportions. The list in 1 Corinthians 12, 8-10 does not necessarily contain all the spiritual gifts that God gives and is used among his people. The gifts given in this section can also occur in all possible combinations and expressions.

The gifts in the church are distributed according to the will (ie, the wishes, motives, and intentions) of the Spirit of God (1Cor.12, 11). The gifts are to be in accordance with the needs of the church, and in accordance with the true spiritual desires of the believer, who mediate the gifts (1Cor 12, 31, 14, 1).

Some can regularly appear in a person, and some Christians have more than one gift to address specific needs. As a believer, you should be zealous for “gifts,” not only for a gift (1 Cor. 12:32, 14, 1). Proceed with all your heart to the gifts of God, to serve the body of Christ in all its fullness.

Gifts should not be a reason to honor a person or to hold a particular Christian more important than other Christians (1 Cor. 12, 22-24). Nor should you feel inferior (1 Cor. 12: 14-20) (1 Cor. 12: 21-26), just because you assign a certain degree of importance to your gifts and your ministry in the church. Just because someone has an external impressive gift, such as healing or prophecy, does not mean that the person is more spiritual than others who have less spectacular gifts. Such an assumption would be unbiblical and unwise. Moreover, God does not automatically approve everything that a person does and teaches only because the person exercises a mental dispensation. Spiritual gifts must not be confused with the fruit of the Spirit, which is more closely connected with Christian character and spiritual growth (Galatians 5: 22-23).

The gifts of the Spirit can be imitated by Satan, or by people who turn out to be Christians, pretending to be the righteous servants of Christ (Mt. 21-23, 24, 11. 24, 2 Cor.11, 13-15, 2Thes2, 8- 10). As a true Christian you must not believe in every spiritual experience, every miracle, every gift. The Bible teaches that you should test the “spirits”, “whether they are of God. For many false prophets have gone forth into the world “(John 1: 1, cf. 1 Thess. 5: 20-21). All that God does not honor is never from God, for God alone is the glory in all things. He alone gives you the gifts that you use them for your honor, always serve the body of Christ and God with a humble heart.
Spiritual gifts should never be used for pride or personal recognition, but with the sincere desire to be a blessing to others and to take care of the needs of others (see 1 Cor.).

The gifts are given not to the advantage of the individual, but to the blessing of the whole church. In this way Christians have a relationship of mutual dependency, while each part of the body fulfills its unique function (1 Cor. 12:21).

Take also your place in the church, and serve with your gifts the whole body of Christ, Maranatha.

Show me, Lord, your ways!

Psalm 25: 4
O Lord, show me thy ways, and teach me thy ways;

Similar to Moses (Ex 33:13), the psalmist deeply longs to know God’s way of proceeding and to understand his plans and intentions. Pray passionately to recognize and understand God’s heart, and to accept his ways without if and but. This includes his wishes and intentions, his wisdom, his holy principles, and even his suffering (compare Phil 3, 10-11). By doing this, you will know God Himself. Stretch out for the power of the Holy Spirit, in your life. Wines tear before God’s throne, every tear will be a prayer heard. God will give you all time, time of grief, pain and supplication.

It may well happen that as a believer you are a little familiar with God’s works (ie, redemption, miracles, cf Ps 103, 7), but without really knowing God personally or understanding his ways (ie the wisdom principles according to which he Acts and guides you). The psalmist shows the following basic principles according to which you know God’s ways and can walk them successfully.

You must have the sincere desire to be guided by God in ways which are right according to the truth-measures of His Word (Ps 25: 4). You shall not go your ways, but will know the ways of the Lord, and follow them. For only these ways are the right ways, these ways will lead you closer to God.

You must be willing to trust “God all day” (Ps 25: 5), and place your hope in Him. You receive the “blessing from the Lord” when you ask for him with a louder heart (Ps 24: 6) and deepen your relationship with God. You should not forget, especially when you pray to God, praise him in his house, or commemorate the Lord’s supper of his grace (1 Cor 11: 23-27, 2 Cor., 14-18, Hepr 12, 14). The praise in any form, whether it be singing, dancing, flagging, with the tambourines, releases a mighty power of God, and the Lord’s Supper deepens your relationship with him.

You have to subdue God humblely (Ps 25: 9), commit to a God-pleasing lifestyle (Ps 25:10), and fear the Lord (ie, deeply respect him, reverence, and acknowledge his awesome power and authority. And you should be the center of your life, it is always by your side and not just figurative, but how would you behave if Jesus Christ would now come to you in a physical form and never leave your side? You should be able to do the same thing as you do, if you would speak the same way as you speak, deepen your thoughts and answer these questions, do it with all yours, be sure this is not just a thought, Jesus Christ is always with you Behave as if he were with you physically.

Since sin prevents you from knowing God and His ways, you must remove everything from your life, which is contrary to God or violates His standards. After that, you must allow His forgiveness and let you purify Him spiritually (Ps 25: 4-8). “If I had planned to commit sacrifice (that is, sin) in my heart, the Lord would not hear” (Ps 66:18). Would you commit the sins that you commit when Jesus is physically with you? Or would you abandon your sin and deepen your relationship with your Lord and Savior?

Difficulties are not necessarily a sign of God’s disgrace (see Ps.25, 20). It does not reflect your sin parameter, visible to all, do not let this ever persuade you. You are not a bad person, or as you like, a bad Christian if you have trouble in your life. You can eliminate them in the name of Jesus, Step by Step. Knowing God and pursuing His intentions can bring you suffering and loss (for example, Acts 14, 22, 20, 22-23). The greatest example to this is Jesus himself, who fully followed God’s plan and yet suffered grief, betrayal, and death on the cross. You should know if you live according to God’s plans and goals, the difficulty, resistance, rejection, and persecution waiting for you. People will leave you and you will leave people. You will make people aware of sin, it will not necessarily mean open arms for you. All this and more can be painful for you, sacrifice and suffering will make you grow in faith and become strong.

Jesus Christ has persecuted his mission from the Father in spite of all disappointment and pain, and has followed him until the end, until death. He has fulfilled his mission, and he knew that his vocation was death on the cross. He has fought with his fate, but he has gone his way determined by God.

In Matthew 26: 36-46, Jesus is able to comprehend his inner struggles well, saying, Jesus comes with them into a good called Gethsemane. And he saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray. And he took Peter to himself, and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be afflicted, and greatly grieved him. Then saith he unto them, My soul is deeply troubled unto death. Stay here and watch me! And he went forward a little, threw himself upon his face, and prayed, and said, My father! If it is possible, let this cup pass by me; But not as I will, but as you will. And he came to the disciples, and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, Can you not watch with me for an hour? Watch and pray, lest ye fall into temptation. The spirit is willing; But the meat is weak. Again, for the second time, he went, prayed, and said, My father, if this cup can not pass by, without I drink it, let thy will be done. And he cometh, and findseth them asleep; For their eyes were heavy. And he left them, went again, prayed for the third time, and said the same words. Then he came to his disciples, and said to them, Do you still sleep and rest? Behold, the hour is near, and the Son of man is delivered into the hands of sinners. Arise, let us go! Behold, who betrayeth me, is near.

Pass this cup past me. What Christ meant by the “chalice” has been much discussed and discussed. It is doubtful that Christ asked to be saved from physical death, because that was the reason why he had come to earth. He had prepared his whole life to fulfill this mission and to die for the sin of mankind (cf Mk10, 33-34, Lk9, 51;

More likely, Jesus asked to be saved from the torment of separation from God the Father, the separation which is the ultimate punishment for the sin that he finally had to endure when he was literally guilty and she punished him (See 2Cor5, 21). When Christ prayed, he knew that his physical death would be accepted as a full atonement for sin, but the aspect of spiritual death, the separation from the Father, was much worse. Nevertheless, Jesus prayed: “But not I will, but as thou wilt.” Then he undertakes to endure both mental death and spiritual separation from his heavenly Father in order to secure and secure our spiritual salvation (Mt27, 46). Obviously the father heard his prayer and gave him the strength to drink the bitter “cup of suffering” which was before him (see Heb 5, 7).

Please also ask the Father, “Lord thy will shall be done”, “not mine,” I will give up my own selfish ways and follow you. No matter what may happen, I hold on to you, because I know you are always with me. If you are for me, who is to be against me, in Jesus’ wonderful name, AMEN, Maranatha.
