These things have I written unto you by them that seduce you. But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you; but as the same anointing teaches everything, it’s true and is no lie, and as it has taught you, ye shall abide in him.

In the power of the Holy Spirit!

The men of the new direction of looking the community detach from all their previous possession. Like today, strange doctrines try to creep into the church. Where they lead the community? John can only say: astray! But this is not just a mere assertion? Should the town bow to the word of the ancient Apostle easily? No. John know each other in a very different situation of the municipality. He does not have to keep up with mere external authority. The town itself has the true, inwardly at leading “teachers” in their midst, in their hearts.

Because with the word that they heard from the beginning, the Holy Spirit came into the church. “Word” and “Spirit” are directly connected. Just transferred the formed and certified by the Spirit word and brings to faith. And again in believing hearing the word we are sealed with the Holy Spirit.

Every temptation, every trial in your life which you will can resist in Jesus name make you stronger in the Holy Spirit. Even Jesus went full of the Spirit in the desert, resisted all temptations and he went in the strength of the Holy Spirit back from the desert. (Luke 4: 1-14)

Pray for the Holy Spirit in you is strong and gives you power and authority.
