Basics in life… a word in time of corona virus

Today I had this in mind while jogging …

back to basics … EAT … DRINK … be happy …

Ecclesiastes 8:15

So I commend the enjoyment of life, because there is nothing better for a person under the sun than to eat and drink and be glad. Then joy will accompany them in their toil all the days of the life God has given them under the sun.

Such a small virus should make us think about the really important things or people in our lives … I don’t know about you with all the restrictions … but our fridge is more than full, the toilet paper is full hoarded … with some more with some less … and now it is time to pray and thank before eating again and to enjoy nature, because even this is not a matter of course … stay healthy, throw your Worrying in prayer upon the Lord because He cares for us …
shalom and do not worry – be happy !!!

Eternal truth

The exchange on the cross

Almost 2000 years ago, an exchange took place at a cross in the Middle East, more precisely in Jerusalem. A timeless exchange, valid for everyone who makes the decision to become a follower of this Jesus Christ. Derek Prince, an English philosophy professor who met Jesus as a young soldier in World War II in Israel, briefly summarized this exchange.
You can read it for yourself in the specified Bible passages, there you will discover many truths and you can claim them for yourself personally, because the gospel is the good news of Jesus, who did everything for you. Yes it is a perfect work for salvation of your soul, all glory to the Lamb of God and at the same time to the lion of Judah.
1. Jesus was punished for receiving forgiveness. Isaiah 53: 4-5

2. Jesus was wounded so that you can receive healing
Isaiah 53: 4-5 and 1 Peter 2:24

3. Jesus was made your sin so that his righteousness can make you just
Isaiah 53:10 and 2 Corinthians 5:21

4. Jesus died your death so that you could receive his life
Hebrews 2: 9

5. Jesus endured poverty so that you could share in his wealth.
2 Corinthians 8: 9 and 12: 2

6. Jesus took your shame so that you can share in his glory
Hebrews 2: 9 and 12: 2
7. Jesus endured your rejection so that you can find acceptance with God
Matthew 27: 36-51 and Ephesians 1: 5-6

8. Jesus became a curse so that you can receive blessings
Galatians 3: 13-14

9. Jesus was cut off from life by death so that you can be connected with God forever
Isaiah 53: 8

10. Our old person was killed with him so that the new person can come to life in us
Romans 6: 6

May you receive everything He did for YOU on the cross of Calvary … shalom

90 : 10 wisdom

biblical wisdom how to handle finances

 * for 90 % of the money we are allowed to have we need wisdom to be good stewards. For months now i try to find out more about that very important subject and what the bible has to say or better wisdom from GOD.

Until now the Lord showed me this. And I want to encourage you to read the bible and find out for yourself if this is a good way to handle money.

the 6 ” S “

S ome S ave – put it aside for a special purpose or for something unknown what can happen

S ome S ow – give it as an offering into other ministries – let it out of your hands – let it go and grow

S ome S pent – for your personal lifestyle – use it more for what you need and not what you want and try to stay away from unnecessary debt. Do not participate in the wickedness of the end times…making money and wasting it.

* 10 % of your first fruit – the income before the tax belongs to GOD – you honor the Lord

Read the bible – may the Lord bless you while seeking truth, understanding and wisdom. Also want to encourage you to pray and ask HIM to show you what you should change. No head knowledge has a positive effect – just simple obedience. Not easy but possible when we surrender more and more to the will of the father… may you be blessed so you can be a blessing.

shalom Sabine

May the Lord bless you while seeking truth.

last challenge for this year

This morning the Lord said to me…

FORGIVE those who hurt you this year…

this is a very good way to end this year and break free from the inner wounds we encountered. Forgiveness is an act of the will, a decision – it has nothing to do with feelings. Our soul cannot forgive. He or she is always screaming for justice or better what we think justice is. To forgive and let them go… out of your heart… enables us to receive healing and love from our heavenly father again. Forgiveness is the essence of the Gospel. We are forgiven and we can forgive through the power of the Holy Spirit.

May the Lord bless you in 2020 and surround you with people who need your love.

wounded ?

My people hurt each other…

my child… I know you are hurt and disappointed… I see your anger… I see your shame…I hear the screams of justice inside of you… just let go… forgive those who did you wrong and let me heal your inner man. Let me touch your heart. Give me your problem with people, give me your little weapon and attempt to solve the situation in your own strength and by the power of your words.

Your feelings and your thoughts are often not in alignment with my Spirit. You need to come closer and on a higher place in me, says the Lord. I want to bring you out of chaos into a place of true shalom. Where you soar like an eagle above the circumstances you are facing right now. See the situations and struggles as a stepping stone to greater victory and success like never before. Your faith is tested just like my Son in the wilderness. This makes you stronger than before. Resist the devil and he will flea.

The more you seek me, the more you will find me, the more you ask, the more you will receive, often not what you want but rather what you need. The more you knock, the more I will open doors of opportunity to bless me and my people with your life and the wisdom and love I have already given you.

Just come like you are. I draw you… my Beloved.

Ephesians 6

11 Put on the full armor of God [for His precepts are like the splendid armor of a heavily-armed soldier], so that you may be able to [successfully] stand up against all the schemes and the strategies and the deceits of the devil.

12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood [contending only with physical opponents], but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this [present] darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly (supernatural) places.

Matthew 6 : 12 And forgive us our debts, as we have forgiven our debtors [letting go of both the wrong and the resentment].14 For if you forgive others their trespasses [their reckless and willful sins], your heavenly Father will also forgive you. 15 But if you do not forgive others [nurturing your hurt and anger with the result that it interferes with your relationship with God], then your Father will not forgive your trespasses.

Romans 8 : 14
For all who are allowing themselves to be led by the Spirit of God are sons of God.

Matthew 7 : 7

[ Prayer and the Golden Rule ] “Ask and keep on asking and it will be given to you; seek and keep on seeking and you will find; knock and keep on knocking and the door will be opened to you.

The grace of GOD

What is God’s grace – or better, how is God’s grace …

many years ago, when I was not yet a believer in Jesus, an evangelical pastor’s wife wrote me this poem on a beautiful card. Shortly thereafter, Jesus saved me. When I read it I cried, but did not really know why. Since then, these lines have found a deep place in my heart and I pray that HE also touches you and draws you to yourself.

Like a morning light

I do not wish you a life without deprivation, a life without pain, a life without disturbance. What should you do with such a life?

But I wish you that you may be preserved in body and soul. That one carries and protects you and leads you through everything that happens to you, to your goal.

That you may remain untouched by grief, unaffected by the fate of other people, I do not wish that to you. So thoughtless one should not wish.

I wish you, however, that something touches you again and again that I can not quite describe.

It’s called grace.

It’s an old word, but whoever experiences it is like a morning light.

You can not want and force it, but if it touches you, you know, it’s good.

Jörg Zink

Have found these scriptures:

John 1

14 The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.

15 (John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, “This is the one I spoke about when I said, ‘He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.’”) 16 Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given. 17 For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ. 18 No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and[b] is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.

A few days ago I heard a preacher explain the grace of God like this:

Imagine, you have a child and it is brutally murdered. Then there are three ways you can react in your great pain.

You can kill him – that’s called revenge
You can leave it to the court – that’s called justice
You can forgive him, that’s called mercy.

What has God done for us? He is the most loving father in the universe. Not only did HE have his only son nailed to the cross for our sins. Your and my sins have killed Jesus. But he has forgiven us too, if we ask him for forgiveness, furthermore he has adopted us as sons and daughters and he loves us just as he loves Jesus.

That is the grace of God !!!

Shalom wishes Sabine

GOD is LOVE

God is love

God loves you and me … his love is not like human love, but it is unconditional, not bound to our love or dependent on our love in its traits …
He loves you no matter who you are, what you are, what you have done wrong or right, what you think of you or others and whether you are good or evil … He loves you without ever expecting anything. We humans often rely on other people we think to love very high standards … we want to be loved back as we expect and think we deserve. This is often associated with many disappointments and soul suffering. But that’s not how God’s love is … His love for you never stops. Why can I write something so bold to you? … because God Himself vouches for it in His Word, and because His Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross of Golgotha, has sealed that covenant of love in His blood again. How is God’s love in his essence … his love is sacred and is completely different from the profane of this world, but for you today and for the future to experience.

The Son of God, Jesus Christ, came into the world as a savior.

In John 3 Verses 16 and 17 we read:
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world, that he might judge the world, but that the world might be saved by him.

So God loved you so much that his son went to the cross on behalf of your sins. He has always loved you thus, without experiencing your love, which shows itself by obedience to his word and commandments. This love never stops, even if you do not return it. Because God does not force anyone to love him.

There are two levels to experiencing and sharing the love of God Himself.
We personally accept the sacrificial death of Jesus on the Cross and make Him the Lord of our lives and follow Him by allowing us to be guided and changed by His Holy Spirit. The vertical, the heavenly plane. We love our neighbor … the horizontal, the human-level: both levels are distinctive features of a true Christian. Not just words but actions. Do not just sit in a pew but be active yourself. Not just like a parasite sucking full, but even become a giver and servant. The Lord bless you as you continue to seek the truth.

I can not force you to love me
If I wanted, I could take the light.
A shimmering piece of paper, crumple it in my fist.
And then, it would be night.
If I felt like it, I could destroy the day with fire.
Warm my hands on your charred hopes.
With the slightest movement of my arm, a flicker of my will
Sweep you and all darkness.
But I can not force you to love me.
Can not force you to love me.
Can not force you to love me.
I can not do you, I will not, you can not
force me to love.
If I wanted, I could pick up the sea.
Everything would be a blue-green tablecloth.
Discover lost, forgotten things.
Unwritten poems.
It would be easy to revive the bones
of men who never thought to see their homeland again.
I have awakened a shipwrecked person.
The story of that salvation, that homecoming
could prove that you are important to me.
But even if I LOVE YOU LOVE the sea and the
Can write heaven
Can not I force you to love me
Can not force you to love me
Can not force you to love me
I can not, do not become, can not force you,
to love me.

tongue and talk

shalom Lions and friends…

feel led  to release the words the Holy Spirit gave me several times the last few days… it started with… cleansing of the tongue…

I heard the words gossip, criticism, negative talk, pessimism…

well obviously we all have problems in that area… it is very easy to use the words we speak for accusations. Instead when we see something wrong in our opinion it is wisdom to

pray first and ask the Lord to change us and the person. I found a lot of verses in the Bible which speak about using the tongue right and wrong. Lets look first what power this little

piece in our mouth has:

Proverbs 18:21  The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit. NIV

Luke 6:45  A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of. NV

Prayer:

Lord, I realize that i am not perfect in that area… my heart is not right in many ways towards others… and myself… I have spoken words unwisely and used my tongue for negative talking

and I have hurt people … sorry Lord, forgive me and help me to change…I need your help Holy Spirit that I use from this day forward words to show your mercy, love, healing, encouragement and

correction in love if necessary …

see James 3 : 1-12
