Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and yet is not clearly

become, what we shall be; but we know that when He shall appear, we shall be like Him; for we shall see him as he is.

Daily growth and change!

From God’s incomprehensible love John spoke and “Look!” A he pointed out. That is why he speaks the recipient of the letter now the “lover” of. It confirms it: “Beloved, now we are children of God.” Even if the little sentence in verse 1, “and we are there” would not be original, here we see that John has not thought of a mere “name” child of God without reality ,

But even so, John also knows about that “already and not yet” that all statements of the New Testament are about us Christians their identity.

No new testament asking God’s commandment thinks “perfectionist”; nobody thinks that the church “perfect”, “completed” is. Everyone knows how much reminders that have “sacred” needed to make them really as “holy” life. And Paul shows in Romans 8:23 with rugged clarity the impassable limits of our Neuwerdens, now in our existence. That is why the “eschatology”, the proclamation of the future and longing wait for the all-accomplished works of God is determinative of all statements of the New Testament. The John joins full, even if he “owning” of eternal life, the “Hinübergeschrittensein from death to life”; emphasized (1 Jo Jo 3.14 5.24). Yet he knows it: We are not, “what we shall be.” We are not there yet, so, it was not even apparently! Perhaps John gladly used with this set back against the Gnosis, who wanted to know too well how our completion state will look like.

You do not have to be perfect, and certainly not out of you, because you will fail and despair. You’ll throw yourself in great crises of faith if you try to be perfect, it is and can not prosper. Jesus Christ in you will transform you and lead you step by step to the goal a little closer.

About you change every day and listen to force things in the rest lies strength. In God you can be relaxed and balanced, because he will give you his peace, it hold fast.

Pray for that Jesus Christ is increasing more and more in you and you abnimmst. That the world can see you who Jesus Christ is.
