Shalom I wish you a blessed and bold great start into the new week. May the Lord bless your hands work!
1 John 4: 11
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.
In the salutation “Dear” is especially the be loved by God resonate here. The “οὗτος” is exactly as in John 3:16 is not a mere “so”, not even “as much” given me back a ausrechend here. The “so” the old hit the meaning better. “So”, “οὗτος” means “in this way”.
It is about the love of God that is not generally only there and not only divine greatness is, but in the gift of loved ones and the most precious as expiation for the ungodly, sinners and enemies (Rom 5,5) has its unique character. Who “they” love really learns and accepts, the “may” not help, and in turn, “love” now.
He is the love of God experienced “guilty”. And yet “to” we, unfortunately, always be unloving and need the haunting memory of our “duty” as they are John the communities here. It is our love to each other have some of the specialized nature of God’s love in itself and must be supporting, forgiving, merciful, coping Helping love.
Such love “debt” we the other when and because we have received from God himself. It is not a special “power” if we love; we do not deserve for special praise. How much we may love, again and again and still a lot more we have another love guilty and never get away with it at one end (Rom 13,8).
Once again, more is done to us here realize how important love is. Love is all without the love is all NOTHING. We are today we owe to love because God loves and he has given his Son for us. Jesus himself tells us to love one should recognize you.
Pray for the love of God is visible to you and your life. Thank God for this love, thank God for His Son Jesus Christ.
