Shalom I wish you a blessed and loving day. Love your neighbor as yourself (Mark 12, 31), all you do, do for love.

1 John 3, 24

And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in Him, and He in him; and by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

The Holy Spirit in you!

At this promise is very clear that our faith is not a mere thought thing and our love is no separate power ourselves.

Who as “believes,” and so “loves” as is “commanded” us, who comes in to a new existence to an intrinsic union with God. This union with God consists in a double “Stay”. Now “remains” the man “in Him”, in God or “in Christ”, as Paul says so frequently like. But it “remains” reversed God, Jesus himself, in the people. Logically these statements are difficult to combine; But in the divine life our usual logic no longer applies.

Paul can the “I in Christ” the ask “Christ in me” in Galatians 2:20 as equal description of the new being to side.

Johannes united in this verse also the two realities together simply that the sentence linguistically thereby almost clumsy.

“He”, God himself in Christ, “abide in him”, the believers and lovers. Can this be true: the Eternal God, the heaven of heavens can not contain (1 Kings 8:27), “remains” in a small human heart? How can this happen? How do we know the truth of this proposition? John responds immediately: “and by this we know that He abides in us. By the Spirit which he hath given us”

John wrote to Christians, which he not only has to give explanations about the Spirit of God. It is “anointed” with the Holy Spirit. But the spirit is therefore not a “thing”, a mere “force” of God, not as the Gnostics an “emanation”, a “discharge”. From deity. He is, “person”, the third person of the Triune God. Therefore Flame and “remains” God in Himself in us. Admittedly, this is an incredible thing! We can not read easily.

But Jesus himself promised: “We will come to him and make our home with him” (1 John 14.32). The calm, clear assurance, however, that the Spirit of God the church Jesus and each individual member of the church “given” is, pervades the entire apostolic witness to the community.

I do not mind the given and I find his work in my life, then I can tell that the Lord abides in me. Open yourself to the work of the Holy Spirit, he will be an integral part in your life, he wants to be your life partner. He will give thee in all things and lead he wants to reveal to you the ways of God for your life. Trust him let yourself fall, he will send you in all help, he is the voice of God in your life.

Pray for the Holy Spirit in you is getting stronger and leadeth thee in all and leads, for he shall direct thy.

God’s protection, blessings and peace
