 1 John 3, 14

We know that we have passed from death to life; because we love the brethren. Who does not love remains in death.

He is at us- and the word is highlighted emphasizes in Greek – happen a radical turn.

We have taken an unprecedented step: the step from death unto life! We know this! Furthermore we have a clear and solid certainty “We know that we have crossed paced from death to life”.

On what is this certainty?

On some exciting experience, through which we have gone?

On feelings, meet us?

In amazing powers and spiritual gifts we possess?

The apostle John knows and says it quite differently: We know it, “because we love the brethren.” This is the real miracle and decisive change of our lives that we can “love” natural Ichmenschen and actually “love”.

Paul gave in 1 Co 13, 1-3 the powerful design for this short, simple phrase of John. We can love our brother, through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ is to us that “love” possible. If you do not really can loving, love with agape, you have a problem in your relationship to God. For God is love, the sacrifice Jesus is love, if your relationship with God is true “love” you and your neighbor will always him with the love of God to confront.

Pray for the “love” in your life, pray for a healthy relationship with God and to people. You receive the love, it is poured out by the Holy Spirit in your heart (Rom 5: 5). Decide a day, the love of life that God has placed you in the heart.
