Shortly thereafter, Jesus saved me. When I read it I cried, but did not really know why. Since then, these lines have found a deep place in my heart and I pray that HE also touches you and draws you to yourself.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"result-shield-container tlid-copy-target\" style=\"text-align: center\">\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><strong><span style=\"color: #993366\">Like a morning light<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>I do not wish you a life without deprivation, a life without pain, a life without disturbance. What should you do with such a life?<\/p>\n<p>But I wish you that you may be preserved in body and soul. That one carries and protects you and leads you through everything that happens to you, to your goal.<\/p>\n<p>That you may remain untouched by grief, unaffected by the fate of other people, I do not wish that to you. So thoughtless one should not wish.<\/p>\n<p><strong>I wish you, however, that something touches you again and again that I can not quite describe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>It&#8217;s called grace.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s an old word, but whoever experiences it is like a morning light.<\/p>\n<p>You can not want and force it, but if it touches you, you know, it&#8217;s good.<\/p>\n<p>J\u00f6rg Zink<\/p>\n<p>Have found these scriptures:<\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000080\">John 1<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div style=\"text-align: center\"><em><span style=\"color: #000080\">\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/div>\n<div class=\"result-shield-container tlid-copy-target\" style=\"text-align: center\">\n<p><em><span id=\"en-NIV-26059\" class=\"text John-1-14\" style=\"color: #000080\"><sup class=\"versenum\">14\u00a0<\/sup>The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth.<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><span style=\"color: #000080\"><span id=\"en-NIV-26060\" class=\"text John-1-15\"><sup class=\"versenum\">15\u00a0<\/sup>(John testified concerning him. He cried out, saying, \u201cThis is the one I spoke about when I said, \u2018He who comes after me has surpassed me because he was before me.\u2019\u201d)<\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-26061\" class=\"text John-1-16\"><sup class=\"versenum\">16\u00a0<\/sup>Out of his fullness we have all received grace in place of grace already given.<\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-26062\" class=\"text John-1-17\"><sup class=\"versenum\">17\u00a0<\/sup>For the law was given through Moses; grace and truth came through Jesus Christ.<\/span> <span id=\"en-NIV-26063\" class=\"text John-1-18\"><sup class=\"versenum\">18\u00a0<\/sup>No one has ever seen God, but the one and only Son, who is himself God and<sup class=\"footnote\" data-fn=\"#fen-NIV-26063b\" data-link=\"[&lt;a href=&quot;#fen-NIV-26063b&quot; title=&quot;See footnote b&quot;&gt;b&lt;\/a&gt;]\">[<a style=\"color: #000080\" title=\"See footnote b\" href=\"https:\/\/www.biblegateway.com\/passage\/?search=john+1&amp;version=NIV#fen-NIV-26063b\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">b<\/a>]<\/sup> is in closest relationship with the Father, has made him known.<\/span><\/span><\/em><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"tlid-translation translation\" lang=\"en\"><br \/>\nA few days ago I heard a preacher explain the grace of God like this:<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Imagine, you have a child and it is brutally murdered. Then there are three ways you can react in your great pain.<\/p>\n<p>You can kill him &#8211; that&#8217;s called revenge<br \/>\nYou can leave it to the court &#8211; that&#8217;s called justice<br \/>\nYou can forgive him, that&#8217;s called mercy.<\/p>\n<p>What has God done for us? He is the most loving father in the universe. Not only did HE have his only son nailed to the cross for our sins. Your and my sins have killed Jesus.
