\n<\/span>Signs and pictures on the body …<\/span><\/span><\/span>we know, from the Bible, that God’s Word is the TRUTH … the opinions of individuals are as different as man himself, and may change with life situations, but God’s word, the Bible, will last forever, for He <\/span>does not change. <\/span>We can rely on that. <\/span>His word says:<\/span><\/span><\/span>in Leviticus 19 verse 28\u00a0 You shall not make any cuts on your body [in mourning] for the dead, nor make any tattoo marks on yourselves; I am the Lord<\/span>. AMP
\n<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>28\u00a0<\/sup>Ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead, nor print any marks upon you: I am the Lord<\/span>. King James Version<\/em> <\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

28\u00a0<\/sup>\u201c\u2018Do not cut your bodies for the dead or put tattoo marks on yourselves. I am the Lord<\/span>.<\/span> NIV<\/span><\/em>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

In ancient times this was part of pagan and superstitious rituals to worship other gods …<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But we as Christians want to worship the saints of Israel, the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob … the God of the Bible and Jesus alone … Worship is not only beautiful songs to sing for his glory, but the true worshippers will worship Him in spirit and TRUTH … <\/span>and truth is\u00a0 his word. <\/span>There are many Scriptures that support this verse above … and then there is this version … yes that’s all Old Testament and we live in the New Covenant, founded on grace and the blood of Jesus.<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But consider what the Bible says about this:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2 Timothy 3 verses 16 and 17<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

For all Scripture, given by God, is good for doctrine, for correction, for improvement, for education in righteousness, that the man of God is perfect, sent to all good works …<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n

God’s purpose is always based on love and grace and mercy … when he shows things, then always to forgive and protect … never will Jesus lead you to condemnation … but he wants us to increase in knowledge, wants to forgive us and that we are able to repent. <\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Prayer:<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Lord, please, I did not know better that tattoos are not in your will, even if they take your name or other holy pictures and scriptures out of the word … please forgive me and wash me in your blood.<\/span><\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Please do not do it any more !!!<\/span><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
